The Salvation Army officially opened its work in Kenya in 1921.  In 2005 growth necessitated that the East Africa Territory be divided into the Kenya Territory and the Uganda Command.  Three years later The Salvation Army Kenya Territory expanded into the Kenya East Territory and the Kenya West Territory.  Into the World: Kenya Joyland highlights the work of The Salvation Army in Kenya.
