SMT Central – Update #1

This week Central Vibes visited Janesville Wisconsin. Our hosts for the week, Major Ruth and Father Earl as well as his family ate dinner with us our first night. We were told about the surrounding community and what we’d be doing during the week. We did VBS at Father Earl’s church, which is an Anglican Church, throughout the week. Tuesday we went to a block party that the local police organized, where we were able to better advertise the VBS as well as interact with the community. Wednesday we were able to see some local talent and watched a water ski show. Thursday, in the afternoon we took a trip to Madison, touring the town, visited a local art museum and ate some delicious local food. We also got to celebrate our team leaders birthday that day. Friday was our last day of the week, where we finished out the week with another day of VBS and said goodbye to our new family in Janesville.
