It’s hard to believe that we have already been in Costa Rica one whole week. From the moment we arrived God’s glory and beauty has been clearly evident. We are staying at a Salvation Army compound that overlooks beautiful mountains. The compound is currently being used for soccer programs in the community. We have been able to join them on community outreach through projects and service.
One specific project we were able to do is a spa day for the women in the surrounding community. We were able to teach hygiene and easy ways to exfoliate your hands. We focused on being able to rest secured in the image and beauty of our creator. A lot of people attended and were eager to learn about beauty tips. Overall this past week we have been able to go into the community and portray God’s love in a creative and new way.
