Together Majors Ferguson are also corps officers of the Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah Corps in the United Arab Emirates with oversight of The Salvation Army’s work in the country of Oman.

This is the Fergusons first overseas appointment after serving as corps officers in six corps across the Central Territory. They both enjoy writing and time outdoors. The Fergusons have two children. Their son, Thompson, works construction in St. Louis, MO and their daughter, Caroline, is a fulltime student at Cottey College in Nevada, MO. They also have two grandsons.
