India Team – Update #1

This week has been both fun and challenging. On Wednesday we touched down in India, and since that point there has not been a dull moment. Our first day we got acquainted with our town and living quarters. On the second day we went out to the local school of the Salvation Army and visited the preschool through eighth grade class, finishing with the high-schoolers the next day. Later in the week we watched the sunrise at the point where the Arabian Sea merges with the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean. It was awesome, and so was Father’s Day. This Father’s Day was particularly interesting as we had the privilege of leading two services. After one week in India, we’re ready to tackle the next five weeks, whatever ups or downs may come.
