Beginning on Ash Wednesday, which this year falls on March 2nd, we enter a season of self-denial. These 40 days leading up to Easter is a time to reflect on the sacrifice of Christ. For many Christians, this season offers an opportunity to honor Jesus’ self-denial by practicing their own self-denial. The practice of self-denial has always been the driving force behind World Services offerings.
